League split confirmed as GFL sides are divided into the Championship and Challenge Groups
The 2022/23 Gibraltar Football League First Round has come to a close this week, as the 11 teams sealed their places ahead of the post-Christmas league split.
Having finished the First Round joint top of the league with Lincoln Red Imps FC and Europa FC, FCB Magpies joins Lynx FC (4th), St. Joseph’s FC (5th) and Glacis United FC (6th) in next year’s Championship Group.
The Challenge Group will be made up of Mons Calpe SC (7th), Lions Gibraltar FC (8th), Manchester 62 FC (9th), Europa Point FC (10th) and College 1975 FC (11th).
Fixtures, along with their subsequent dates and times will be released in due course.
